12 Immutable Laws of Scheduling

  1. The amount of confusion your company experiences is directly proportional to the number of people involved in making scheduling decisions.

  2. Tribal knowledge is not really tribal because it is typically kept in the heads of just a few individuals for a reason… knowledge is power.

  3. If you have a scheduling system that tells you for example that you can be efficient or ship on time then most managers will still say they want you to do both… this is why they will never be executives.
